Winter is the ideal time for renovating, repairing and upgrading many Bluegreen resorts so they're ready to welcome spring—and Bluegreen owners and guests.

The Lodge Alley Inn™ (Charleston, SC) is in the midst of a two-year replacement project that will see refinished or new hardwood floors in every suite.

Laurel Crest™ (Pigeon Forge, TN) just completed a renovation of the second level of the clubhouse. A new front desk, paint and furnishings are ready to welcome you. Buildings 3 and 4 have new carpeting, furnishings, paint and lamps, and new sleeper sofas and bedding will be placed throughout the property. Look for new pool and patio furniture, too.

Renovations continue at Shore Crest Vacation Villas™ (North Myrtle Beach, SC) where a fresh new color scheme will greet the change of seasons. Living rooms in Shore Crest II have new living room furniture with darker, warmer colors. Shenandoah Crossing™ (Gordonsville, VA) is pleased to announce a new guest experience—an experiential vacation adventure which will integrate the great outdoors with the traditional amenities of a comfortable resort. New accommodations will include RV pads with amenities from furnished patios and your own fireside to, in some cases, complete outdoor kitchens. Our brand new luxury yurts are debuting at Shenandoah, too. Not sure what a yurt is or what to do with one? Existing cabins on the resort side at Shenandoah Crossing™ have new twin beds, new dining room tables and chairs, new end tables, and enhanced lighting in the living rooms and bedrooms. Suites in the Lodge have new Queen beds.

Equestrian fanciers, take note: the Equestrian Center at Shenandoah Crossing now features a horse-drawn hayride pulled by twin Belgian Draft horses.

Meanwhile at Harbour Lights™ (Myrtle Beach, SC), buildings 13 through 18 are being redecorated with new granite countertops, new carpet and new showers.

An oceanfront pedestrian and bike pathway project has been completed and Pono Kai (Kapa'a, Kauai, HI) guests will love it. By May 2008, the redecoration of 152 accommodations will be totally completed. In response to guest requests, we've added a special area for playing horseshoes.
