Located at the edge of the historic French Quarter and  recently renovated to include the ever evolving and always hip artistic community in New Orleans, Bluegreen Club La Pension represents the city as it stands today – an eclectic mix of history, art, music and new, sometimes boisterous beauty. Bluegreen would like to welcome you to its newly remodeled resort, with arms as wide as our Big Easy smiles.

Our six historic buildings are comprised of studio, 1- and 2-bedroom completely remodeled suites that now feature locally made artwork and décor. Vacation suites feature a variety of unique traits, such as handcrafted headboards to locally sourced photography and handmade conversation pieces that include mini-mausoleums, painted chairs posted to the ceilings and paintings  mounted on salvaged materials.

The historic building still boasts exposed beams and brick walls, but now includes lofty window dressings and modern kitchenettes. And to keep modern chic comfy, the suites include all new plush linens, white spa-inspired bathrooms and pristine pine floors.

From the moment of arrival, guests are greeted by grandeur, as a fresh coat of paint on the façade gives a new sense of beauty to the historic building. Once inside, the  transition from French Provincial to modern New Orleans is obvious. The lobby now features a dramatic wrought iron desk with a matching canopy, custom built by one of New Orleans’ most respected metal workers. A beautiful rooftop sundeck invites guests to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city, and propositions them to stay a while with an oversized chessboard and comfortable lounges.

As always, the prime location of Club La Pension means you’re just steps away from the fabulous food, amazing nightlife and renowned eccentric culture of the Big Easy you came to experience.

For award-winning Italian cuisine, dine at the intimate four-star-rated Café Giovanni next door to the resort. After dinner, stroll through the historic French Quarter and listen to the soulful sounds of jazz as the irresistible aroma of Creole and Cajun food fills the Quarter. Or, walk across the street from the resort and try your hand - poker hand that is- at Harrah’s Casino. Plus, renowned Bourbon Street is only three blocks away. Watch it come to life at night with its many restaurants, bars, nightclubs and  legendary parties.
